This is the third article in a 3-part series published in the NCSM Inspiration! Please go read parts one and two together with the information to connect understanding. This article gives statistical research on how we, as educators and society, can help to change the current practices.
A lot of the article is focused on educators. However the entire community is responsible for educating the youth. We can go to board meetings and vote. We can also volunteer at schools. We need to make sure the system in place is designed for ALL students SUCCESS.
